We headed to the sunny land of Croatia for a week, well it was supposed to be sunny but it actually rained for a day and clouded over for the most part. But it didn't matter, we still had fun. That's when you know a place is really lovely, when it's still special in the rain. And you come back without a tan (annoyed? me? nah...) It was my first time in Croatia, have any of you been there? live there? We were actually there with ten of our friends for
Soundwave festival. Four days of music, gorgeous clear blue sea, boat parties and cheap food and drink. It was magical. We got down to the likes of De La Soul, Ghostpoet and Submotion Orchestra. It really was awesome. Chris and I took off to the city of Split right after the fest and had a couple of days just mooching and munching and taking it all in. I'm not sure what we expected from Croatia, but lets just say it exceed expectations. The city was beautiful and the food...ok in places. But its the clear seas that will keep me going back. In fact the tickets are already booked for next year. Now we have to wait a year to do it all again. Booooo!
